Release International’s CEO Paul Robinson has featured on national GB News speaking about this year’s Light Walk Challenge.
In June Paul and a team of supporters will be walking to the top of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, with a large cross, to spotlight the persecution of Christians around the world.
The team of walkers will set off after midnight, aiming to hold aloft the cross at the peak as sun rises, highlighting the way many Christians around the world continue to be the light of Christ in the darkest places.
Paul was interviewed on GB News’ morning programme. Asked why he was doing the walk in the dark, he said, ‘As we travel the world and meet persecuted Christians, although the persecution is severe and awful, there is always, in the lives of Christians, the light of Jesus shining through them – which is immensely encouraging.’
