CHINA STOPS CHRISTIANS HANDING OUT FACEMASKS

China has been preventing Christians working to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, by stopping them giving out facemasks.

According to reports emerging on social media, Christians in Wuhan have been barred from handing out facemasks supplied by overseas churches.

Tough new rules came into force on February 1 to cut off Christians from overseas support. But the consequence in Wuhan is that Chinese citizens are being denied protection against the coronavirus.

Trans World Radio asked Andrew Boyd of Release to describe the work of the Christians of Wuhan…

James Maidment-Fullard of Trans World Radio UK.

Release International’s partner, ChinaAid, said the Chinese authorities are trying to prevent social media coverage of the coronavirus.

Christians in Wuhan who are out on the streets praying for their city have called for prayer support as they work to bring the peace of Christ to the troubled city.
