A MILLION IRANIANS TURN TO JESUS (See video below)
God is at work in Iran, despite severe persecution. That was the encouraging message to supporters at four events focusing on the work of Release International partner 222 Ministries.
Visions of Jesus
Many Iranians are having dreams and visions of Christ. It’s estimated that more than a million have come to Jesus in the 40 years since revolution swept the ayatollahs to power.
222 Ministries are playing a part in bringing the gospel to that country. They are transmitting Christian TV in the Farsi language, running an online church, a Bible college and a prayer room, along with many other initiatives to lead Iranians to Christ.
‘Blink of an eye’
Lazarus Yeghnazar runs 222 Ministries. He has seen his sister and his friends martyred for their faith and had his family home seized by the authorities.
Yet he says he would go through it all again in the blink of an eye. ‘It’s a small price to pay to see more than a million come to Christ!’
Lazarus was the keynote speaker at Release International online events in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
