Release International supports new book on Nigeria
neither bomb nor bullet

Archbishop Ben Kwashi has sent a message of thanks to Release International for backing his new biography, Neither Bomb Nor Bullet: Archbishop on the Front Line.

The book tells the remarkable story of his three escapes from death in Nigeria, and is infused with his joyful, overcoming faith.

‘Three times they’ve tried to kill me,’ he says. ‘They’ve come close. But each time just makes me more determined to live my life to the full for Jesus.’

Neither Bomb Nor Bullet, by Andrew Boyd and published by Lion Hudson, is drawn from almost 100 hours of interviews with Release partner Ben Kwashi. It exposes the growing crisis with Islamist militants in Nigeria and is packed with good-humoured stories of faith and courage on the front line.

The new Home of Release International

You’re on the right site, even though our name has changed

We’ve refreshed our brand and now go by Voice of Persecuted Christians. Our mission remains the same: to support people who face persecution for their faith. This site, voiceopc.org, is the official home for news, stories, and ways to help.

If you’re looking for resources from the former website, you’ve found the right place – everything you need is still here, just under our new name.
