That’s not just walking 4000 feet – it’s walking across Scotland from Aberdeen to Fort William, up and down NINE 4,000 ft hills along the way!!
Laurie writes, ‘Last year I had the opportunity to visit Egypt and see at first hand the work done by Release partners as they bring hope to many Egyptian Christians. Release supports a number of Strength to Stand groups which help women who frequently lead lives filled with fear and negativity. Being supported and encouraged in practical ways has transformed their lives. Another partner provides care and support to Christians in remote villages including believers from a Muslim background who can suffer extreme persecution from members of their family.
So this year a friend and I are fulfilling an ambition to walk across Scotland taking in the nine 4,000 foot hills in the UK. If you are able, please consider contributing something towards the valuable work which Release does.’
