Prepare to Stand with Andrew Brunson at Holy Trinity Church, Eastbourne

Former prisoner of faith Andrew Brunson will be speaking in the UK this autumn, as part of Release International’s programme for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP).

For 23 years Andrew, from the United States, and his wife Norine served as missionaries in Turkey. In October 2016 they hit the headlines around the world when they were arrested and falsely accused of terrorism. Andrew was held in prison for two years. Following much prayer around the world, he was dramatically released in October 2018.

Today Andrew and Norine lead a ministry called WaveStarters, which seeks to prepare Christians to stand firm in their faith in difficult times.

Andrew will be speaking at Holy Trinity Church, Eastbourne on Wednesday November 19. The event begins at 7:30pm and will finish around 9:00pm. There will be refreshments and a bookshop afterwards.

Voice of Persecuted Christians

The new Home of Release International

You’re on the right site, even though our name has changed

We’ve refreshed our brand and now go by Voice of Persecuted Christians. Our mission remains the same: to support people who face persecution for their faith. This site, voiceopc.org, is the official home for news, stories, and ways to help.

If you’re looking for resources from the former website, you’ve found the right place – everything you need is still here, just under our new name.
