PAKISTAN BLASPHEMY FEARS – RELEASE ON PREMIER RADIO

New reports support Release International’s call for repealing Pakistan’s notorious blasphemy laws.

More than a year has passed since the country’s Supreme Court threw out the case against Asia Bibi on the grounds that the blasphemy charges levelled against her were based on ‘lies’ and ‘false accusations’.

Yet two new reports highlight the plight of those who continue to be accused of blasphemy in Pakistan. A disproportionate number are Christians.

Premier Radio asked Andrew Boyd of Release what the reports say about Pakistan’s reputation over the blasphemy laws…

Release International and others have long been pressing for the repeal of the blasphemy laws in Pakistan.
